Pope Phoenix Joins the cast of Spider-man: Homecoming

Pope Phoenix has joined the cast of Sony-Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” opposite Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton plus 700 other actors. Plot details are still guarded as is Pope’s character but its known he’ll be in the film at some point like most of the free world.

Other actors who have joined the cast over the summer as production began include Hannibal Buress, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori. The film is hitting theaters on July 7, 2017. Holland is playing Peter Parker and Tomei will portray Aunt May while Keaton is on board for the role of a villain.

Pope is an illustrator with too much time on his hands. It also should be noted, everyone else has been cast in this film, Jon Watts said “Why not add this random guy too?” Pope has drawn illustrations of Spider-man and his acting credits include a “Table of Truth profile” and the “Charlie & His Imaginary Kickstarter Project video.”

He is represented by The Table of Truth and Lazy Artist Club.
